Terms of Service
This page is maintained by the soCookit team to set expectations between you and soCookit ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. Keep your login credentials safe — you're responsible for activity on your account.
Posting recipes
You keep ownership of the recipes you post. By posting, you grant soCookit a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content so the platform can show it to other cooks. Don't post content you don't have the right to share, and don't post anything illegal, hateful, or unsafe.
Paid (locked) recipes
When you lock a recipe, 90% of each unlock goes to you and 10% supports soCookit. Payouts and refunds are handled by our payment processor on the schedule shown in your seller dashboard. Buyers get permanent access to a recipe they unlock unless we remove the recipe for a policy violation.
Refunds
Because recipes are digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final except where law requires otherwise. If a recipe is fraudulent, plagiarized, or removed for policy violations, contact us for a refund.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape, attack, or abuse the service. Don't manipulate likes, leaderboard rank, or XP. We may suspend accounts that do.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or applicable law.
Liability
soCookit is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
